What is a chemical peel?

Customized, medical-grade chemical peels exfoliate and stimulate skin to address common conditions like fine lines, enlarged pores, congested skin, acne and blemishes, and irregular pigmentation.

The Vivier Brilliance peel for example, offers a gentle, but effective microexfoliation that brightens and tightens your skin leaving you feeling radiant and glowing. This treatment helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne, age spots and is recommended for all skin types including patients with rosacea and sensitive skin. After your treatment, you can return to work and regular activities immediately. We suggest an initial series of 3-6 peels (one every 2-4 weeks), and maintenance peels every 3-6 months. You will feel your skin is clearer, smoother and brighter after your first treatment.Chemical peels are professional skin maintenance at its finest.

How do chemical peels work?

In a simple 30 to 60 minute appointment, the skin is prepped to receive an even application of chemical peel solution by one of our medical estheticians. Once neutralized, the skin is cooled and protected with an SPF. Patients can easily return to regular activities.

In the 5 to 7 days before treatment, patients must discontinue all forms of topical vitamin A (retinol) and other abrasive treatment agents.
