Do you stand or sit most of the day while at work?  Do you get tired by the end the day? Tired achy legs, fatigue, leg swelling, and varicose veins are all signs that blood is pooling in your legs. But there’s a solution! A comprehensive 2021 study in the Journal of Sport and Health Science confirmed that wearing medical grade compression socks or footless tights will:

  • increase venous return

  • improve muscle blood flow in the lower limbs at rest

  • boost muscle oxygenation

The result?

  • less fatigue

  • less leg soreness

  • less swelling

  • help prevent varicose veins

  • improve alertness on the job

  • boost sport performance and recovery

  • less travel fatigue, reduce jet lag symptoms and decrease risk of DVT (blood clots) when travelling by car, train or airplane

At ArtMed, we carry both Sigvaris and Achi brand compression wear in sport and medical grades. Wearing compression improves venous return to the heart so you’ll feel better when you wear it.  Wearing compression when travelling improves circulation, reduces risk of blood clots and helps reduce jet lag.
