Dr. Mary Peirson, Owner & Medical Director
Dr. Mary Claire Peirson, HBSc., M.D., C.C.F.P, is the owner and medical director of ArtMed. Born and raised in Kitchener, she holds an undergraduate honours degree in biology from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, a Medical Doctorate from the University of Toronto and a post-graduate degree in Family Medicine from McMaster University, Hamilton. She worked for many years in family medicine throughout Ontario, and for several decades in the areas of public health, infectious disease, addiction medicine, adolescent health and women’s health. Dr. Peirson was invited into the practice of medical aesthetics and has found it to be a creative and rewarding area of medical practice.Dr. Peirson is known for her sensitive eye and artistic sensibility. She is an excellent listener, and is approachable and friendly. Each patient is unique and their treatment plan is customized to achieve optimal results for that individual.
Stephanie Fontaine, Clinic Manager
Stephanie Fontaine comes to ArtMed from a career in the laboratory science industry and in recent years has specialized in Client Services Management.With her background in private healthcare services and retail business plus 17 years of experience in client care and customer service, Stephanie brings an exceptional level of expertise to her position as Clinic Manager at ArtMed. She is an excellent communicator, a super-organizer, innovative and an extremely approachable person.Stephanie lives in Guelph with her husband, two children, a beloved German Sheppard and a cat!

RN-EC, Nurse Practitioner
With 13 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Ingrid Timpauer brings an exceptional depth of experience to her work at ArtMed. As a hospital-based nurse Ingrid worked in emergency medicine first as an RN and then as an NP for many years. After several years working in geriatrics, she undertook her NPFA training in the US where she qualified as a first assistant in the operating theatre and has been working in the surgical programs at Cambridge Memorial hospital in recent years. Ingrid’s passion for surgical procedures and comprehensive care inform her work at ArtMed where she provides small surgical services, aesthetic procedures and medical care for our dermatology clients. Ingrid is a positive and energetic member of the team and a wicked volleyball player to boot!

RN, Injection Specialist
Sarah Ferguson is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience working in the high demand environment of McMaster University teaching-hospital. She now brings this exceptional professionalism and medical knowledge to her work as a cosmetic nurse injector at ArtMed.
With an extensive background in a multitude of nursing settings, including ICU, labour and delivery and interventional radiology, Sarah ‘s broad range of skills and experience is a wonderful asset to our community of practice at ArtMed.
Sarah is passionate about helping her clients achieve their aesthetic goals. She is certified in Neuromodulators (Botox/ Xeomin), Dermal fillers, PRP, and several other treatments.
When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys hiking, fitness pursuits, socializing, and spending time with her family.

RPN, Injection Specialist
Morgan Lowe is a Registered Practical Nurse, bringing 5 years of invaluable nursing experience working across diverse healthcare fields. These include primary care, acute care, mental health, dermatology and occupational health. Aesthetics has always been a passion of hers, pursing makeup artistry previous to her nursing career. Combining her two passions has been a dream come true!
For the past two years, Morgan has worked in a dermatology and medical aesthetics clinic in Toronto. Here she assisted in surgical skin cancer procedures before transitioning to an injector role after completing her certificate at the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Morgan has remained committed to staying at the forefront of the ever changing world of injectables, completing numerous extensive one on one trainings with leading industry professionals. Her mission is to provide her clients with the highest standards of safe and ethical aesthetic enhancements, and to make you feel confident and beautiful in your skin!
In her free time, Morgan loves to travel and has visited over 20 countries!

Pamela Curtiss brings 22+ years of medical aesthetics experience to her role at ArtMed. During her career she has worked with several highly respected plastic surgeons and through this work she has acquired an exceptional understanding of how to help clients look and feel their best. Her passion for aesthetics and wellness is infectious. Pam is friendly and approachable and loves to learn.
Pam is a fully qualified registered nurse (RN) and highly experienced medical laser technician. Consequently, Pam has a very broad range of skills. This dual training informs her truly comprehensive approach to aesthetic care.
She is always looking for ways to enhance outcomes for her clients whether it be formulating custom skin care programs or optimizing treatment planning to ensure best results. Like many of the staff at ArtMed, Pamela loves animals and enjoys spending free time with her pets!

Medical Aesthetician, Laser Technician
Ula is a Certified Skincare Specialist and Laser & Light Technician. Her adventure in the beauty industry began 19 years ago when she graduated from an Advanced Aesthetics College in Poland. She furthered her extensive training by earning a Medical Aesthetics Diploma in Canada in 2013, and she continually expands her knowledge and stays up-to-date with new technologies in the aesthetic industry.
She is passionate about people and skin health, and we think you will find Ula’s positive, bright and nurturing personality shines through every day. She believes in the power of empathy, a warm smile, a kind word, and a relaxing touch. She is dedicated to helping people love their skin and to enhance their natural beauty.

Medical Aesthetician, Laser Technician
Valeria’s journey into the world of aesthetics is a unique one. Valeria began working behind the scenes in both television and the live theatre industry in 1998. She has worked closely with artists and performers for over twenty years. She began her career at the Banff Centre for the Arts working in several areas including theatrical makeup. After years of hard work and perseverance Valeria became the Head of Properties at The Stratford Festival’s Avon Theatre, and the first woman in the history of the Avon to earn a head position. Valeria earned her BAH and Masters in Theatre Arts at the University of Guelph and since then has been a Guelph local.
In addition to her accomplishments in Theatre Arts, Valeria’s passion for aesthetics inspired her to pursue her Laser Technician diploma at the Canadian Beauty College, among other certifications in skincare. In working closely with artists backstage, Valeria learned first hand the importance of aesthetics and how it can affect one’s confidence onstage and in front of an audience. After earning her diploma, Valeria began offering her skincare services to Guelph locals as well as her fellow artists, in order to help them achieve their goals in looking and feeling their best.

Jacquie is a skilled medical aesthetician/laser technician at ArtMed. She has many years of clinical experience and has worked as a trainer at a well-respected aesthetics school.
Jacquie is highly organized, detail-oriented and always seeking to learn more about aesthetics and lasers.
She is kind and has a gentle manner and calming presence. She is also an outstanding facialist and enjoys providing custom and European facials. Don’t let Jacquie’s calm and serene presence leave you thinking she’s a softie, Jacquie has a black-belt in Karate!

Executive Office Administrator
Sarah comes to ArtMed with a strong background in medical office administration both in the public and private sector. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Diploma in Health Office Administration from Conestoga College.
Sarah has many years of experience in patient-facing healthcare administration. She was a unit clerk and privacy officer at Grand River Hospital and at Guelph General Hospital. She has also worked in the areas of occupational health and rehabilitation administration. You will find Sarah working full time on our front desk Monday to Friday where she provides leadership within the administrative team. She is very approachable and a great problem-solver. Sarah's gift for attention to detail is also reflected in her love for knitting!

Skye graduated from George Brown in Toronto with a certificate in Medical Aesthetics. She has gathered 8 years of experience in customer care, having worked in spa environments as well as at an eye care clinic. You will see Skye at our front desk, helping clients with bookings and questions about treatments. When you enter the clinic, she will welcome you with a glowing smile! Skye has a passion for skincare, and she loves helping people find their perfect skin regime. Outside of work, she has a fervor for animal care taking. You will find her volunteering at local animal sanctuaries. We are so happy to have Skye as a part of the ArtMed team!

Brand Manager
Growing up in a creative family surrounded by artists and musicians, Theo developed a passion for art and design that led her to study at the Ontario College of Art and Design University, earning a Bachelor of Design in Advertising.
With over six years of experience at ArtMed, Theo has successfully leveraged her advertising & graphic design background to grow our clinic's client base and enhance its brand.
As the dedicated Brand Manager and Marketing Director, she excels in running strategic marketing campaigns and developing comprehensive omni-channel marketing efforts to ensure consistent and engaging client experiences across all platforms.
Some of Theo's projects for ArtMed have included building our eCommerce website, growing our social media following, expanding the email newsletter list, and securing features in various news outlets and media channels.
