We are a collaborative team of highly trained professionals who have worked in regulated health environments.

We ensure that our staff are industry-trained (company certified on the equipment they use) and highly experienced in the procedures they provide.

We ensure that medical oversight is on-site (MD or NP) and consultations with an NP or MD are in-person for controlled-acts (such as injections) which require orders.

We cross refer to each other to provide the best possible treatment plans and outcomes for our patients eg. s›kin conditions may require prescriptions which our MD or NPs can provide.

We provide continuity of care. If an ArtMed nurse is on maternity leave, or a laser technician moves to another city we provide equivalent care with another nurse/laser tech on our team.

We provide follow-up care. If a patient has a question or concern, or a side effect/adverse event, we can be reached, and all staff have access to the electronic medical records of our patients.

We adhere to PHIPA and PIPEDA standards for patient privacy and personal health information protection and we document treatments according to medical record documentation standards.

We make access to care easy by offering online booking/cancellation, email and phone booking as well as an online store for purchasing products, gift cards etc.

We adhere to all public health standards. Our Medical Director comes from a career in public health and believes that aesthetics should adhere to the most rigorous of public health standards and care always be undertaken in a clinical environment.

ArtMed is highly experienced. With 10 years of continuous operation, we have an exceptional depth and breadth of knowledge in the practice of medical aesthetics. We know what works and what does not. We know when to say ‘no’ because a situation is not optimally safe or the right treatment. We know how to combine treatments for optimal results. We are absolute experts in skin care and provide both prescription and pharmaceutical grade skin care options.

We track and monitor results. Photography, Visia Skin Analysis and follow up visits are key to our approach.

We don’t rest on our laurels. ArtMed is always adapting and learning, evaluating new and emerging treatment options/technology and determining what works and what doesn’t. We’ve already done the research and legwork so you don’t have to.

Selling is not part of a medical model of care. We do not employ a salesperson on our team. Treatment plans are created by the medical professionals who provide the treatments as they know what works, what doesn’t, what is best for that individual based on consultation with them and how to minimize risk and maximize results.

We offer competitive pricing. Following a medical model of care does not mean that the care is more expensive. We respect your budget and provide monthly payment plan options.
